Provision of academic and study skills support services, including English language support
Students are encouraged to view ACT’s Student Support Services page for information about academic and study skills support services available. In addition, the following are services available at Youthworks College:
- The Study Skills Co-ordinator provides on-campus support for students.
- The college provides a six week program of study skills for all new students.
- Youthworks College provides ongoing support based on student performance in assessments and maintain a students at academic risk register to monitor problem students and provide or recommend support.
- For students with additonal needs related to reading and writing, the college makes referrals to the Reading and Writing Hotline.
Provision of counselling services
ACT and its colleges have a strong commitment to student wellbeing. Students are encouraged to view ACT’s Student Support Services page for information about personal and counselling support services available, as well as links to relevant ACT policies and processes in place to provide support to students. In addition, the following services are available to students studying at Youthworks College:
- Referrals can be provided for complex support matters. Youthworks College primarily refers students to an independent service: Anglicare counselling services.
Library
The library provides a wide range of digital resources, as well as a physical collection of over 1500 monographs specific to the college. In addition, students have access to the Moore Theological College library, providing access to a total of approximately 195,000 monographs, and access to a wide variety of digital resources and other physical texts.

1 space available, Main classroom opens to a wider space that is also used as recreational and study space in break times for group study, private study, recreational activities, socialising, and discussions with lecturers and tutors outside of a classroom setting.

Residential accommodation for students
No on-campus accommodation is available for students. Students are referred to external service. Students seeking short term residential accommodation during their studies are recommended a nearby site ‘Golden Grove’.
