Provision of academic and study skills support services, including English language support
Students are encouraged to view ACT’s Student Support Services page for information about academic and study skills support services available.
In addition, students at Melbourne School of Theology receive a combination of college and external provision:
- An ESL tutor provides 20 hours per semester of English for Theology.
- Study Skills support provided to students through Academic Workshops, 2 per semester
- MST refers students to an external provider: English Form Migrants (church-based program)
Provision of counselling services
ACT and its colleges have a strong commitment to student wellbeing. Students are encouraged to view ACT’s Student Support Services page for information about personal and counselling support services available, as well as links to relevant ACT policies and processes in place to provide support to students. In addition, the following services are available to students studying at Melbourne School of Theology:
- Referrals can be provided for complex support matters. Melbourne School of Theology primarily refers students to counselors available through the Christian Counselor Association of Australia
Library
The library provides a wide range of digital resources, as well as a physical collection of over 113,000 monographs, including over 18,000 monographs published in Chinese. Information about the library and services are available here.
